Casey Allen

Thank you for visiting my home page. My name is Casey Allen. I am 44 years old and presently I am an English and business English instructor at Keimyung University in Taegu, South Korea, where I have been teaching for the past three years. I am also currently enrolled as a student at Northcentral University where I am taking a Ph.D. in Educational Technology Management. My academic background also includes a Master of Distance Education from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from the University of Alberta. I was a teacher at the secondary level in Alberta, Canada for seven years in the field of career and technology studies, before venturing into instructional design. I have now contributed to three college texts as a subject matter expert, and have worked on a contract basis as an instructional designer. I have used both the TIPS System approach and the ASSURE method of instructional design. I am still available on a contract basis for instructional design, computer-mediated conferencing, ESL consulting, or distance education leadership and instruction.

This website has been developed to organize my interests electronically and to share with family and friends. All of the writings (stories, poetry and academic papers) have been authored by me. I have also taken all the photographs in the photograph section.
